Eastport’s historic waterfront while relaxing on the deck of this second
floor apartment over Dancing Dogs Pottery & Art located in the 1887
Leavitt Building. The deck looks over the Inner Basin that houses
Eastport’s fishing fleet. Visiting sailboats moor along the docks that
move up and down with our average 23’ tidal change. Stay a week, a month,
or longer in this newly renovated space featuring an open concept living
and dining area with expansive views through the large windows to the
Northern Passage, Campobello Island, and beyond. The kitchen has a
dishwasher and washer/dryer for your convenience. The attention to detail
is evident in the tile work in the shower with the hand-placed sea glass
that was culled from Eastport’s coastline. Eastport has been the home of
many artists over the years. You will also find inspiration with the
pristine beauty that surrounds us. There is an additional studio space
that can be rented in conjunction with the apartment. It has running
water and is the perfect space to set up your work area. Dancing Dogs
on-the-Water is pet friendly with pre-approval but not kid friendly. The
windows are large and have no bars on the bottom sash and there are steps
from the rear deck that descends three flights. |
